The West Reading Police Department had an arrest warrant for the subject on charges of rape and related offenses. The subject was wanted for the rape of an 18 year old female in a motel room at the Penn View Motel in the early morning hours of November 24, 2001.
Wanted on Monday, March 26, 2001!

Kevin Andrews - BANK ROBBERY
Kevin Andrews, 20, was arrested by West Reading Police for robbery at the Berks County Bank at 555 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Crime Alert Berks County's Tip-Line received several anonymous tips from people who recognized Andrews from a bank security camera photo which was released to the media.
West Reading Chief Edward Fabriziani said, "If it wasn't for Crime Alert Berks County we would not have made this arrest so soon. I think this just proves again that if people help us we can help them."
Andrews went into the bank on Monday shortly after it opened and approached a bank teller. He told the teller that he had a gun and demanded money. He was wearing a bandana. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and Andrews ran from the bank.

LOCATION: Berks County Prison, Bern Township, Berks County, PA
SYNOPSIS: The State Police are looking for Jose Luis TRINIDAD, a black male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 180 pounds, who escaped from the prison by scaling two razor wire fences. He was injured during the escape and should be considered dangerous.
Suspect was identified and an arrest was made!

Victim: Osmond D. Walker, 39, 536 McKnight St., Reading
Synopsis: Walker had spent the night in the home of a girlfriend in the 500 block of South 17 1/2 St. He left there about 6:10 am and was walking to his vehicle when he was shot in the head and neck. He died at the scene. There are no suspects. Reading Police have asked that anyone with information, regardless of how insignificant it may seem, to contact its Criminal Investigations Division at (610) 655-6246.
